💻 Technical Requirements

Before starting your placement test, please make sure you have:

  • A laptop or desktop computer (not a mobile device)
  • A stable internet connection
  • The Chrome or Edge browser (Safari is not supported)

🧑‍💻 Personalized Student Portal (MyPoly)

MyPoly is your student portal. It allows you to:

  • Take the placement test
  • View your class schedule
  • Check grades and attendance
  • Submit service requests

We will help you log in and navigate MyPoly during orientation.

📝 Placement Test

After logging in to MyPoly, you will take a placement test to determine the appropriate level for your classes.

📘 Purchasing Digital Textbooks

You will receive guidance during orientation on how to purchase digital textbooks required for your courses. These textbooks are integrated with MyEnglishLab (MEL).

We recommend reviewing the short instructional videos on the MyEnglishLab for Students page (about 10 minutes total).
