TESOL/TEFL Practicum Application

POLY Languages Institute welcomes TESOL trainees to complete their practicum through classroom observation and supervised practice teaching in our adult ESL classes. This is an unpaid, training-only opportunity designed to meet your TESOL/TEFL program requirements while maintaining a high-quality learning environment for our students.

Placements are limited and subject to approval, scheduling, and instructor availability. If approved, you’ll be paired with a faculty mentor and, upon completion, we can provide verification of your observation/teaching hours. Upload your introduction video (MP4 format, 50 MB max). Our school uses Zoom for communication and training. Please upload a short Zoom-recorded video (60–90 seconds) introducing yourself. You may include your educational background, TESOL program, teaching interests, and why you are seeking a practicum at POLY Languages Institute.

Recording is simple with the Zoom Desktop Client:

1. Open Zoom and select “New Meeting.”
2. Select “Record” to begin and “Stop Recording” to finish.
3. End the meeting; your Zoom recordings folder will open.
