TOEFL Preparation Program
The TOEFL Preparation Program at POLY Languages Institute is designed for advanced-level students planning to take the TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language – Internet-Based Test). This intensive 16-week program helps students build the academic English skills and test-taking strategies needed to succeed on the exam.
Program Structure
The TOEFL Preparation Program spans 16 weeks, divided into four 4-week terms. Students may enter the program after completing Level 5 or Level 6 of the General English Program, or by placing into an equivalent level through the English Proficiency Assessment Test (EPAT).
Courses Offered
The program includes two skill-focused courses:
- Listening & Speaking (TFLS): Focuses on improving listening comprehension, note-taking, spoken accuracy, and fluency for the speaking section of the TOEFL iBT.
- Reading & Writing (TFRW): Builds advanced reading comprehension and academic writing skills for both the integrated and independent writing tasks.
All instruction is aligned with TOEFL iBT task formats, and students receive regular practice using sample test materials.
